Dedicated cinema rooms and media snugs built to CEDIA standards. Dolby Atmos, 4K and 8K projection, acoustic treatment, and one-touch control — engineered in Berkshire, installed across Thames Valley, London and the UK.
A Quest End home cinema is a properly designed room — not a TV on a wall with a soundbar. We treat every installation like a miniature commercial cinema: screen geometry, seat sightlines, speaker placement, acoustic panels, lighting scenes, HVAC, and a silent equipment rack. The result is an experience that rivals any multiplex, tuned to your taste and your space.
We install dedicated cinema rooms, multi-purpose media snugs, and hidden-tech living rooms where the technology disappears behind the architecture. Every system is commissioned with proper audio calibration using SPL meters and measurement software, not guesswork. If you want a home cinema in Maidenhead, Marlow, Windsor, Ascot, Henley, Beaconsfield, Chiswick or anywhere in between, we have the design, installation and aftercare team to deliver it.
We work with architects and interior designers from concept through to handover, coordinating first-fix cabling, structural requirements, lighting design and finishes so the cinema integrates seamlessly with the rest of the home.
The things clients ask us most often before we start a project.
A dedicated home cinema room in our region typically ranges from around £75,000 for a well-specified entry-level room up to £500,000+ for a reference build with anamorphic projection, tiered seating, acoustic treatment and fully hidden equipment. Media rooms and high-end TV rooms start significantly lower. We provide a clear, line-itemised quote after a site visit.
Not always. A dedicated, light-controlled room delivers the best picture and acoustics, but we regularly build spectacular media rooms in open-plan spaces, lofts, basements and garden rooms using acoustic treatment and smart lighting to compensate. We’ll advise honestly based on your space.
A media room is a multi-purpose space — often with a large TV or short-throw projector — used for films, sport and gaming. A dedicated cinema is a single-purpose, light-controlled room with a proper projector, anamorphic screen, tiered seating and full surround sound. Both are brilliant; the right choice depends on your home and how you plan to use it.
Yes. Our workshop is in Maidenhead, but we install across Thames Valley, London, Buckinghamshire, Surrey, Oxfordshire and regularly travel further for larger projects. We also have a dedicated Quest End Marine arm for yacht cinemas.
In the right property a professionally designed cinema is a genuine selling feature. More importantly, it adds daily value to your life — our clients tell us their cinema becomes the most-used room in the house within weeks.
