One Home. One Interface. Everything In Tune.

A real smart home isn’t a drawer full of apps. It’s a single, coherent system where your lighting, heating, AV, blinds, security and entry all speak to each other, respond to how you live, and can be controlled from one interface — on a keypad, on your phone or by voice. That is what we design and build.

We are Savant Authorised Dealers, Crestron Authorised Dealers and KNX Certified Partners — three of the most capable platforms in the industry. We pick the right platform for each project based on your goals, your budget and the scale of integration you need, and we program it from scratch around how your family actually uses the house.

We install across Berkshire (Maidenhead, Ascot, Windsor, Wokingham), Thames Valley (Henley, Marlow, Beaconsfield), Surrey, Oxfordshire and central London. Projects range from apartments and townhouses to country estates and multi-building properties.

Why Quest End for Automation

Certified across the big fourSavant Authorised Dealer, Crestron Authorised Dealer, KNX Certified Partner, Lutron Registered Dealer. Most installers specialise in one platform — we genuinely work across all of them, so we recommend the right one for you, not the only one we know.
Proper KNX programmers in-houseKNX is powerful but unforgiving — it needs a certified programmer with an ETS licence. We have that capability in-house, which means no sub-contracting and no surprises.
Family-run since 2010Founded by Liam and Thomas Parker in 2010. You will speak to the same engineers across design, install and aftercare — not a rotating cast of sub-contractors.
Designed for real lifeOur test is: can a guest switch on a light without a manual? If not, we’ve over-engineered it. Every system is commissioned with that in mind.

Frequently Asked Questions

The things clients ask us most often before we start a project.

Which smart home system is best — Savant, Crestron, Control4 or KNX?

There is no single ‘best’ — it depends on budget, scale and priorities. Savant is elegant and user-friendly and has great integration with Apple. Crestron is the most flexible for large, complex projects. KNX is an open, hardware-based European standard that is extremely reliable and future-proof. We are certified on Savant, Crestron and KNX, and Lutron/Rako for lighting, so we recommend whichever genuinely suits your project.

Can you upgrade or rescue an existing smart home system?

Yes — we regularly take over projects from installers who have left the industry or systems that have never worked properly. We’ll audit what’s there, document it and either repair, extend or replace it with a sensible migration plan.

Do you offer ongoing support and monitoring?

Yes. Every system we install can be remotely monitored via a secure VPN, with proactive alerts if anything drops offline. Service plans include priority response, scheduled firmware updates and on-site visits.

How long does a smart home installation take?

For a typical whole-home project we’re on site for 4–12 weeks depending on scale, usually across first-fix (cabling), second-fix (devices) and commissioning (programming and training). We align with your builder’s programme on new builds and renovations.

Do you work with architects and interior designers?

Constantly. Much of our work is specified by architects and interior designers across the Home Counties and London. We provide schematics, equipment schedules and clean, coordinated drawings at every RIBA stage.
